Here at Rowley Farm Holidays, we’ve always believed that hospitality goes far beyond offering a beautiful place to stay. Being a family-run business in the heart of Worcestershire, community means everything to us and giving back to the people and places that make this county so special is something I truly care about.
Over the past few months, we’ve had the privilege of supporting several local charities across Worcestershire and Herefordshire, helping to raise vital funds and awareness for some truly inspiring causes. It’s been wonderful to see how small acts of kindness can bring people together and make a difference where it matters most.
Supporting the Worcestershire Ambassadors
One of the highlights this year was donating a stay to the Worcestershire Ambassadors for their charity ball. The Ambassadors do fantastic work supporting local initiatives, and we were thrilled that our prize helped raise funds at an event that brought in an incredible £60,000 in one night. It was a wonderful reminder of how generous and community-spirited Worcestershire businesses can be when they come together.
Helping the Ely Memorial Fund
Another cause close to our hearts is the Ely Memorial Fund — a Herefordshire-based charity founded by Ange Tyler in memory of her daughter, Emma Louise Young (ELY). The charity offers emotional and financial support to families who have lost a child in a road traffic accident, providing care and compassion during the hardest of times. Donating a stay felt like a small but meaningful way to help them continue their incredible work and bring comfort to families when they need it most.
Supporting the High Sheriff’s Charity Golf Day
We were also delighted to donate a raffle prize for a charity golf day hosted by the High Sheriff of Worcestershire, Ian Smith. Ian has spent his year in office raising awareness and funds for local causes, and it’s been inspiring to watch the community come together in support of such worthwhile projects.
Giving Back to the Community We Love
For us, Rowley Farm Holidays isn’t just about luxury self-catering accommodation and countryside getaways. It’s about people. Our guests, our neighbours, and the wider community that make Worcestershire such a special place to both visit and call home.
