As you know, Rowley loved dogs, and we aim to cater to the needs of dogs just as much as our human guests. With our hot doggy wash, paddocks, fully secure gardens, and no furniture or breed rules, dogs are truly welcome here.
We also try to cater to the needs of anxious and reactive dogs with The Hideaway Hut and The Old Dairy in particular. We have a blog that talks about the pros of each of our stays, based on your dog’s personality.
And recently had anxious rescue pup Dougie or @Travelbysunlight stay in our old dairy after seeing the buzz on our socials, read below for their review!
We recently stayed in the beautiful Old Dairy at Rowley Farm Holidays for a cosy winter break. Having had a really stressful few weeks at work, this gorgeous place was exactly what we needed to switch off. We usually travel with our rescue dog, Dougie, and Rowley Farm was SO dog-friendly, so it was perfect for him too!
We were immediately greeted by dog treats, towels and bowls, and headed through into the kitchen to find the secure garden.
It felt like such a luxury to be able to let Dougie roam around outside whilst knowing he was completely safe, as it’s something that’s generally a little bit harder to find in holiday accommodation. We were so happy to use the secure dog walking paddock too, to let him burn off some energy!
There were many little luxuries for us humans too, a huge comfy bed, a real Christmas tree and a hamper of treats (including mulled wine!) on arrival, which was a lovely gesture. During our stay, we genuinely kept commenting about how lovely the space was and how relaxed we felt. We’d be back in a heartbeat, and we know Dougie would too!
