This past weekend, we had the most amazing stay at Rowley Farm, and we couldn’t wait to share our experience! From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home in the charming and impeccably clean cottage, which was thoughtfully designed to be both family-friendly and dog-friendly.
One of the first things we noticed was the attention to detail when it came to accommodating our furry friend, Ranger. The cottage came with a jar of dog treats, a towel, and bowls—such a thoughtful touch! There were also blankets provided so that Ranger could snuggle up with us on the furniture without worry. One of our favourite features was the dog washing area, which was incredibly handy after Ranger had a fun run in the secure field on the property.
Aside from the amazing dog-friendly amenities, we were lucky enough to experience something truly special—feeding baby lambs! It was such a heartwarming experience, and one that made our stay even more memorable.
For the humans, Rowley Farm didn’t disappoint either. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a lovely selection of goodies, which made us feel instantly welcomed. And after a day of outdoor adventures, we were able to relax in the wood-fired hot tub—an absolute dream! There was plenty of logs and kindling provided, making it easy to enjoy a warm and cosy soak under the stars.
Another fantastic feature was the secure garden, giving us peace of mind that Ranger was safe while playing outside. We also appreciated the convenience of being able to park right outside the cottage, making unloading and loading the car effortless. For those with electric vehicles, there was even an electric charging point available—such a great bonus!
Our weekend at Rowley Farm was truly unforgettable. Whether you’re looking for a peaceful retreat with your family or an adventure-filled getaway with your four-legged friend, this place is perfect. We’re already planning our next visit!
