Malvern Autumn Show
27th, 28th & 29th September 2024 (Dog Friendly on the 29th only)
The Malvern Autumn Show offers a full day of activities, running from 9am to 6pm, with last entry at 4pm.
A free shuttle bus operates from Great Malvern Station to the showground, with bicycle racks and EV charging points available on-site. Visitors can enjoy various food and drink options, with picnic areas and water refilling stations also provided.
Usually not dog friendly however this year, the show will introduce a special ‘Dog Day’ on Sunday, 29th September, where well-behaved dogs on short leads are welcome. The day will feature a fun Dog Show with categories like ‘waggiest tail’ and ‘Softest coat’
Tickets for Sunday’s Dog Day can be booked online in advance.
Wine Tasting Events
Less than a 20-minute drive from Rowley Farm, Bottles Wine Shop is a hidden gem for wine enthusiasts and dog lovers alike. Known for its carefully curated selection of boutique and rare wines. Bottles also hosts a variety of events that cater to both seasoned connoisseurs and those new to the world of wine.
These events, ranging from intimate tastings to themed wine nights, create an engaging and educational atmosphere for all who attend.
If you fancy a memorable night filled with exceptional wines that capture the essence of the season, There are several wine tasting events available, but please note that, although usually dog-friendly, some of the tasting event unfortunately are not.
Call My Bluff
Friday 6th September
Guests are invited to immerse themselves in a unique wine experience at the Call My Bluff themed tasting event. Unlike a typical blind tasting, this event adds an exciting twist—challenging participants to distinguish fact from fiction as the shop’s wine experts mix truth with clever bluffs.
Wines for the Autumn Tasting
Friday 20th September
Guests are invited to a cosy evening of wine tasting that celebrates the rich flavours of autumn. As September fades and the nights grow cooler, explore a selection of wines perfectly suited to the season.
The evening starts with a welcome glass of fizz, followed by a delicious cheese and charcuterie board to enjoy with the wines.
Bewdley Museum
Bewdley Museum, located less than 20 minutes from Rowley Farm and offers a fascinating journey into the rich history and culture of the area. Dogs are welcome throughout on leads, this charming museum showcases local crafts, trades, and the town’s heritage through interactive exhibits and beautifully preserved artefacts.
Visitors can explore the historic Shambles, a restored 18th-century butcher’s shop, and see traditional craftspeople at work. With its picturesque gardens and seasonal events, Bewdley Museum is a delightful destination for history enthusiasts and families alike.
Medieval and Tudor Re-enactment event
Saturday 21st Sept – Sunday 22nd Sept Dogs Are Welcome on Lead
Try on medieval armour and join soldiers as they prepare for the Battle of Tewkesbury. Meet historical figures from Bewdley, Enjoy live entertainment from musicians, storytelling, and games.
The Wythe Retinue, a 15th-century War of the Roses re-enactment group, will be bringing history to life. Named after Sir Thomas Wythe, who raised the army for the pivotal Battle of Tewkesbury, they offer a glimpse into this dramatic period.
This free family event is a great day out for all ages. Step back in time and immerse yourself in history.
Refreshments will be available for purchase from the Garden Kitchen café, or feel free to bring your own picnic

Needle Felting Workshop
Sunday 15th September
In this workshop, you’ll learn the techniques needed to create an adorable dormouse. The day will begin with a brief introduction to the art of needle felting, exploring its various forms. An experienced tutor will guide you through the process, sharing her expertise and insights along the way.
Running from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, the workshop includes a break for a ploughman’s-style lunch. All materials for making your dormouse will be provided, along with a workshop apron for you to use.
By the end of the day, you’ll have your own dormouse creation and the skills to make more. For those eager to continue, additional materials will be available for purchase. It promises to be a wonderfully creative and crafty experience!
