Rowley is a space where many neurodivergent guests, both young children and older adults, return time and again, because it feels safe, supportive and genuinely welcoming. We’re proud to offer a holiday experience where everyone can feel at ease.
My Sensory Story: What to Expect on My Holiday at Rowley Farm Holidays
ARRIVING AT ROWLEY FARM
Rowley Farm is in the countryside in Worcestershire. I will drive through quiet country roads and a small lane to get to the farm. It might feel a little bumpy, but that is normal. When I arrive, I will see lots of green fields and animals.
WHO I MIGHT MEET
I will meet Clare, who owns the farm. She is kind and helpful. Clare has two daughters, Emily and Annabel, who live on the farm too. There may also be other guests staying in the other cottages.
WHERE I WILL STAY

There are four holiday cottages: The Old Dairy, The Hayloft, The Stables and The Shepherd’s Hut. They are quiet and private, and each one has its own enclosed garden. Inside, it will be cosy and peaceful. I can bring my dog, and they will have their own space too.
WHAT I MIGHT SEE
There are sheep and goats in the fields. In spring, I might see baby lambs. I can help feed them if I want to. There are also friendly farm dogs that I might meet during my stay.
WHAT I MIGHT HEAR
I might hear sheep baaing or goats bleating. I might hear a tractor driving past, but it will not be too loud. Birds sing in the trees, and sometimes the dogs woof.
WHAT I MIGHT SMELL
The air smells fresh. Sometimes I might smell grass, flowers or farm animals. These are normal countryside smells.
WHAT I MIGHT TASTE
In my cottage, I might find yummy treats like Ruby’s Fudge, Two Farmers Crisps and homemade apple juice. Everything is local and tasty.
HOW I MIGHT FEEL
It is quiet here. I might feel calm and relaxed. I can have space to myself or enjoy being outside in nature.
