THE FINALISTS

RUFF REVIEWER

Meet your
Ruff ReviewER Finalists

At Rowley Farm Holidays, we often get great feedback from the humans that stay with us, but really, it’s their pup’s opinions that we want to hear. After all, we’ve tailored our cottages to make them perfect for people to bring along their pooches.

That’s why we are looking for a canine critic to visit us (with their humans of course!).

The shortlist has been drawn and voting is now open. Scroll down to learn more about the pups and cast your vote!

Why Loki would be a great Ruff Reviewer:

Loki is a gorgeous Goofball, and an athletic counter surfer.

He knows how to pose for the camera with his gorgeous blue and brown eyes he is a stealer of hearts and giver of kisses, he even has a heart shaped spot!

Loki loves spending his time snuggled up at home and exploring the Countryside on long peaceful walks.

Loki is also flying the flag for reward based training for fearful and reactive dogs and spreading knowledge and experience with his inspiring videos and stories.

Loki is a reactive dog (scared of other dogs) after being bitten by several off lead dogs in his lifetime and so finding safe, secure and peaceful walks is a must.

Why Rocco would be a great Ruff Reviewer:

Rocco would make a fabulous Ruff Reviewer! We have a HIGHLY engaged following of Insta furiends and dog pawrents who we absolutely love to engage with. We love sharing to our Instagram stories every single day, and to our grid and reels too. We also have a new TikTok account that we have only just started but we are really enjoying making lots of new Tiktok furiends.

Off social media Rocco is a very sociable dog. He loves other dogs and we often go to dog furiendly events and meets with our local ‘Frenchie’ group for monthly walks. Rocco also loves to meet new humans and is a particular fan of bum scratches and paw rubs, he usually asks for a paw rub within the first 5 minutes of meeting someone! He’s also the pawfect guest, well behaved (apart from an initial excited zoomies on arrival occasionally 🤣) quiet and is happy staying in all types of accommodation – as long as he is with mummy, he’s at home.

Why Vinnie would be a great Ruff Reviewer:

Vinnie LOVES going on staycations with us, he’s the perfect house guest and is up for all adventures! Vinnie is also a pro at showing off to his paw pals in IG and Facebook about his dog friendly stays! We know his paw pals love to hear about his adventures and where he’s stayed too and we love documenting our stays and showing off where we’ve been and what to do in that area! We know Vinnie would just be the best ruff reviewer!!!

Why Merry & Coal would be great Ruff Reviewers:

Merry and Coal are canine travel connoisseurs: they’ve explored the length and breadth of the UK and are now dog friendly travel experts! Seasoned pros, they settle brilliantly in new accommodation and they’re ready to go out exploring all that the local area has to offer right from the get go – and if the weather’s miserable, they’re equally happy to snooze by my feet while I relax with a good book, or to curl up and watch a film together!

Their adventures are shared through my blog www.pawsexplorenorth.co.uk and through social media too (although I’m still getting to grips with this TikTok malarkey, having arrived rather late to this particular party). We love to shout about our favourite places to stay to help spread the word for dog lovers everywhere – because we know ‘dog friendly’ matters!

Why Chester would be a great Ruff Reviewer:

My mum is a pawsome photographer & blogger and she is very strict when we are working. I know all my poses (and I created some she doesn’t think are so cute)! I can also let my fur down and love to explore new areas. I’m great at being friendly with farm animals but I can’t just sleep anywhere. My mum’s raised me on Egyptian cotton duvets so I can sniff out luxury wherever I go. I have browsed your website and found that it’s positioned perfectly for pets at home and the Butchers looks devine. However, the vets should be demolished prior to my arrival, mummy exclusively deals with my boo boos. The secure garden looks perfect for playing with my bubbles and there are lots of instagramable locations. If you would like any more info on me, contact my mumager.

Why Chase, Shaggy & Whiskey would be great Ruff Reviewers:

Chase & Shaggy are rescues and dog reactive, we love sharing places to other owners in similar situations. Whiskey is our crazy collie puppy that’s about to turn 1. They are a range of ages Shaggy being the oldest at 11 and Whiskey currently the youngest at 11 months. I feel they can all show and enjoy different aspects of the holiday and therefore would be reviewing in a way the holiday from 3 perspectives. We are also on instagram @chaseandshaggy

Why Bueno & Mia would be great Ruff Reviewers:

They are both so different (especially in leg length), so they experience the world so differently but love every moment especially together! They love going on adventures, meeting new people and new pooches and then nothing more than cuddling up on our lap after a long day or running, barking, eating and playing!

Bueno is a 5 month old dachshund and Mia is a nearly 6 year old husky. They are both super friendly and well behaved and I couldn’t ask for two better dogs to share my life with! They love posing for photos and making videos with me too! We have no children at the moment so they are our world! And doing new things with them is what we like best! I also love writing a good review ( I mean they do 🙊)

Why Frank would be a great Ruff Reviewer:

Hi, my name is Frank and I’m a 2 year old KC registered black & tan smooth-haired standard dachshund. People always comment on how big I am for my breed (14kg) and I get lots of attention when I go out with my humans!

I would love to be a canine critic because I love travelling and seeing new places. I am an adventurous outdoor dog and I like sniffing out new things. I have already visited the Peak District, Yorkshire Moors, Scotland, the south coast and north Norfolk coast. My legs are short but I like to climb mountains and I’m always the first to the top of the hill to see the best view! I like to swim in the sea and rivers. I also like to meet new people and dogs – I’m very friendly and curious!

When I’m not outdoors, I like to snuggle in my bed or sleep in any cosy corner. I would be good at writing reviews of the properties and would ask my humans for their views too! I would also share my experiences on my social media (instagram and TikTok) where I have lots of followers.

Why Rufus would be a great Ruff Reviewer:

Hello there, Rufus is a 5 month old Yorkiepoo, and was the only puppy from his litter to have the yorkie colour markings. He is incredibly friendly, and has to say hello to every dog and every single human he meets along his travels! This works out very well for Rufus as he is centre of attention everywhere we go! have created an adventure book so we can document all our travels with Rufus.

We recently visited and explored Norfolk, with Cornwall and the Cotswolds next on our list. Rufus would make a great Ruff Reviewer, due to his supaw fun and friendly personality. We are able to capture some fantastic photo memories, and would love to capture more memories exploring the Cotswolds, whilst staying at the beautiful Rowley Farm.

Being a Ruff Reviewer also allows us to be able to share with others our wonderful experiences, and then allow others to make their own family memories. Rufus is a pawsome and very clever puppy, who has brought a great deal of happiness into our lives! It was love at first woof! 🐾

Why River would be a great Ruff Reviewer:

River loves exploring new areas. We love to take her to dog friendly stays so that she can be involved and part of the fun. She loves relaxing and having a great time. It feels so rewarding seeing her have fun. We love documenting these to make others aware of the dog friendly locations, to give others opportunities to enjoy and value their time with their dog.
